As the year draws to a close, we at Camptocamp reflect on the values that drive us—collaboration, respect, and a deep connection to nature. Inspired by these principles, this holiday season, we are proud to support a cause close to our hearts: Femmes en Montagne, a unique film festival held in Annecy, France.

This extraordinary event celebrates the achievements and stories of women in mountain sports and filmmaking. Through breathtaking cinematography and deeply personal narratives, the festival captures the spirit of resilience, adventure, and our shared bond with the mountains.

A Commitment to Accessibility

In alignment with our own values of openness and inclusion, we were especially moved by the festival’s commitment to making its 2024 edition 100% accessible to the deaf and hearing-impaired community. Femmes en Montagne is the first mountain film festival to offer such comprehensive accessibility, ensuring everyone can share in the magic of these stories.

To achieve this, the festival has:

  • Subtitled all films in French, including Francophone productions, to break down linguistic and auditory barriers.

  • Provided professional French Sign Language (LSF) interpreters for all post-screening discussions and workshops, fostering rich, inclusive conversations.

  • Included interpretive services for festival events like the Café Nœuds workshop, ensuring the full program is welcoming to all participants.

Our contribution helped cover the costs of these essential measures, amplifying the festival’s mission of cultural and sporting inclusion.

Wishing You a Meaningful and Restful Holiday Season

As we close the chapter on 2024, we extend our heartfelt wishes to our clients, colleagues, and partners around the world. May your holiday season be filled with moments of peace, adventure, and connection.

Thank you for being a part of our journey. Together, we climb higher.

Happy Holidays from all of us at Camptocamp!
