We are particularly proud to be part of the consortium comprising IGN, Cerema, Inria, 1Spatial France, GEOFIT/IGO, Siradel, LuxCarta, Camptocamp, GeometryFactory, Université Gustave Eiffel, CNES, IFP Energies nouvelles and Cap Digital, set up to meet the challenge of developing and deploying a common technical foundation for the digital twin of France and its territories.

As a major French and European player in open-source geospatial software, Camptocamp aims to contribute its know-how and experience in this field (COOPTERR project with Rennes Métropole, 3D indoor and outdoor for Suez), while investing in research and development, to develop a common base capable of meeting the project's strong ambition: to offer an infrastructure enabling startups and innovative SMEs to develop high value-added tools and services, and to bring the worlds of research and industry closer together to accelerate the identification and overcoming of technological hurdles and the marketing of innovative technological solutions mobilizing the digital twins of territories.

Camptocamp is responsible for the architecture and cross-functional services technical foundation. The company is recognized for its ability to implement large-scale, robust and high-performance spatial data infrastructures, such as those for NexSIS, the new operations alert management platform used by the fire departments of several SDISs in France, and currently being gradually rolled out across the country.

We will also be pursuing our ongoing work on large-scale language models for the use and exploration of geographic data. We will use our initial results to add a generative AI brick to the common base, facilitating access to JNFT for non-expert users.

We look forward to the year 2025 as a member of the French Digital Twin Team, eager and ready to meet the challenges ahead!
